WEBINAR – Biogas in Italy: market, regulation and innovation

WBA and Italian Compost and Biogas Consortium (Consorzio Italiano Compostatori – CIC) co-hosted the webinar “Biogas in Italy: market, regulation and innovation” on 29th October, 2018.

The webinar was pertinent as both our associations are participating 6th-9th November in Italy at “Ecomondo” the international trade fair for material and energy recovery and sustainable development.

The webinar:

• introduced WBA and CIC members to each other
• discussed opportunities, challenges and inspiring case studies in Italy, especially biogas from biowaste
• informed CIC members about WBA’s work to promote biogas internationally
• informed WBA members about CIC’s work to promote biogas in Italy

Speakers were:

• Alberto Confalonieri, Chair of the Technical Committee at CIC
• David Newman, President of WBA
